No badge guarantees tickets for red carpet screenings.
Concerning Festival screenings, participants are advised that:
- Access to the various Festival screenings is mainly by invitation, which must be reserved via a dedicated ticketing site (instructions will be sent by email a few days before the start of the Festival).
- Invitations are limited and subject to availability. Given that the number of requests far exceeds the number of seats available, the Festival de Cannes can in no way guarantee participants access to the sessions they request. (We encourage you to log in regularly to the ticketing platform, as additional tickets are frequently released.)
- Invitations are free of charge and exclusively granted by the Festival de Cannes. They may not be sold under any circumstances, as doing so may result in legal action.
The Festival is reserved for professionals in the film industry. If watching films is important to your work, a Marché du Film badge gives you access to over 1,200 screenings. If you miss an Official Competition screening, registered Marché du Film participants can attend the exclusive Catch-Up Screenings of the films In Competition (the evening after the Lumière premiere) at the prestigious Olympia Cinéma. Towards the end of the Festival, registered Marché participants also have the exclusive opportunity to watch Rerun Screenings of the films In Competition in the Marché du Film screenings rooms inside the Palais des Festivals.
